Job Title: Coordinator of College, Career, and Student Services

Primary Purpose
Coordinate and support the district’s student services and college, career, and military readiness (CCMR) programs. Assist in ensuring high-quality services for all students, including special populations, and promote postsecondary readiness through coordinated academic, career, and support programs. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local requirements.
Qualifications
Education/Certification
- Master’s degree in education, administration, counseling, or related field preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Valid Texas teaching certificate required
- Texas administrator certificate preferred
- Special Education or CTE certification preferred
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of successful educational experience
- Experience in Special Education, CTE, counseling, testing, or student services preferred
- Experience with compliance, accountability, or program coordination preferred
Major Responsibilities and Duties
Program Coordination
- Coordinate district programs including:
- Special Education support services
- Section 504
- Dyslexia
- Counseling services
- Career and Technical Education (CTE)
- College, career, and military readiness (CCMR) initiatives
- Support implementation of district goals and improvement plans
- Assist with development of systems to improve student outcomes
Special Education and Student Services
- Support compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and related requirements
- Assist campuses with ARD/IEP processes, documentation, and timelines
- Coordinate referrals, evaluations, and service delivery supports as assigned
- Support campuses in meeting the needs of diverse learners
College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR)
- Coordinate initiatives to improve CCMR outcomes
- Collaborate with high school counselor to schedule and proctor TSIA2
- Assist with dual credit, certification, military readiness, and workforce opportunities
- Monitor student participation in postsecondary readiness programs
- Support student graduation planning aligned to CCMR indicators
CTE Program Support
- Assist with coordination of CTE programs and student enrollment pathways
- Support compliance with state and federal CTE requirements
- Help expand access to certifications and career pathways
- Promote equitable access to CTE programs for all student groups
Transition Services
- Support transition planning for students receiving special education services
- Help align IEP transition goals with career pathways and postsecondary planning
- Monitor required documentation and transition indicators
Compliance and Accountability
- Assist with compliance monitoring for assigned programs
- Support state and federal reporting requirements (PEIMS, TSDS, grant reports, etc.)
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Assist in preparation for audits, reviews, and corrective action plans
Staff Support and Training
- Provide training and technical assistance to campus staff
- Support implementation of district procedures and best practices
- Assist with onboarding and support of assigned program staff
Budget and Resource Support
- Assist with management of departmental budgets and grants
- Monitor purchases, materials, and program resources
- Help ensure effective use of allocated funds
Data Analysis and Continuous Improvement
- Collect, organize, and analyze student and program data
- Prepare reports for district leadership
- Support improvement planning based on data trends and outcomes
Communication and Collaboration
- Collaborate with campus administrators, teachers, counselors, parents, and community agencies
- Serve as a resource for campuses regarding assigned programs
- Promote partnerships with colleges, workforce partners, and outside agencies
Policy and Procedure Implementation
- Support implementation of board policies and administrative procedures
- Assist in development of handbooks, procedures, and guidance documents
- Promote consistent implementation across campuses
Supervisory Responsibilities
- May supervise assigned clerical or paraprofessional staff
- Coordinate work of assigned program staff as directed
Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors
- Maintain emotional control under stress
- Frequent districtwide travel
- Occasional prolonged or irregular hours

Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on evaluation of professional personnel.
